Ao infinito e além

surftolivetosurf:

From the archives: On my second to the last day in Bali this year, I was able to rock down with my friend Jam to catch the Oakley comp in Canggu. Hung out with our friend Tim - who handles media for the Asian Surf Circuit - and banged out a couple of my own shots. The day also served as a sort of reunion for me and the Indo Boys - some of whom I hadn’t seen in two years.

Best of all, I learned so much from the organizers about how to run a more eco-friendly surf event. By swapping out styrofoam boxes for lunch kits made out of coconut or banana leaves, you reduce the waste left behind from feeding your staff and competitors. Asking people to bring their own water jugs and having them refill from bigger containers also cuts down on potential use of plastic cups. Things like that.

Sometimes, shooting or watching a surf comp is a lot more than just shooting or watching a surf comp. :)
